My final blog for the Summer 2016 online technology will be about PB works and explaining what wiki is...

A wiki is a collaborative trust site where multiple users can create and edit content. Some advanced wikis exist to where a single user can accept or deny content that is submitted by other end-users. Affordances can be found by viewing the YouTube video below.

The PBWorks platform is a collaborative hub that serves as one single portal to all your wiki. PBWorks allows educators one single source for making and tracking all changes to their wiki pages.

Relative to the classroom PBWorks offers the educator supreme administrative rights. The educator can add users to the pBWorks platform without require special credentials or authentications. Educators can create assignments for students while tracking them from beginning to end with the project management like capabilioties of PBWorks.

The educator is is able to create the core projects team while adding/removing team members as necessary. PBWorks also allows for assigning of deadlines for completion of assignments and even gives alerts as those deadlines approach.

An example of a business marketing coursework assignment would be the ability to have multiple students complete individual tasks as assigned by the instructor. The individual tasks would be managed through the PBWorks platform and would roll-up to an overall marketing campaign upon completion. This is an example of the multiple intelligences learning theory, which suggests that there are seven ways people learn in the world.
